Everyone knows the adage, seek and you shall find. It is true the seeker will learn, develop, and grow.
Earth School is elementary! It’s where we come to play and learn to shape our world. Like mini gods and little devils, we rearrange, redevelop, and reassign the elements, unaware that everything is interconnected and Divine.
In its spiritual essence, all is God.
My Paramguru, (the guru of one’s guru) is Swami Sri Yuktseswar. He is the author of “Holy Science”. He was also a world class astrologer. His mantra to his students? “Learn to behave!”
From a young age, I was driven by an unwavering desire to be of service to others. I thought I could assist everyone and everything with the love I felt in my heart. For three decades, I believed evil was merely an inadvertent misstep, a reactionary mistake. Certainly not something that would define one’s character. Then, like a bolt of lightning shattering my naivety, I comprehended the undeniable existence of evil as a dark force that thrives and alongside it, an insidious presence named hate.
Becoming aware of the dark aspects of humanity as I did, I felt an urgent need to comprehend the dualities of this world. It wasn’t until I looked for answers in the spiritual and celestial realms of signs and symbols, I discovered the secret of life is the journey of the soul. And the soul – no matter what becomes of this physical realm, physical body et al, remains untouched by the machinations of evil.
On a fateful Ace of Spade day in 1989, I met a woman by the name of Robbie Juster, also known as Dr. Jack Heart.
She was a petite soldier of light! She had helped nurse Arnie Lien – author of “What’s Your Card?” in the weeks and months before he passed.
She asked me my birthday and told me my card. I thought it was fun but a bit silly. I didn’t take her seriously until she started to tell me exactly what was going on in my life.
She told me about the calendar in the 52-card deck and how your birthday is your starting point on the calendar. It marks your whereabouts on the same canvas of time and space you share with others who were born on that day.
Of course, your personality and qualities are not identical to others who share your birthday. Your uniqueness and individuality are based on your cultural heritage, your genetics, and the evolutionary qualities of your soul-nature. But your imprint, your karmic footprint on the invisible canvas of time and space, that same canvas woven with countless threads of causes and effects, that is something you share with others who were born on the same day.
Put another way, your birthday card represents the karmic vehicle in which you are traveling And you, the wonderfully unique, individualized soul driver, just needs to know how to customize your vehicle so it works best for you.
And there it was… KARMA. And not just a little bad karma or little good karma, but the whole Universal Law of Cause and Effect. The sum total of who and what, and most importantly, why.
Ancient wisdom tells us that once God created His vast Universes, He established the law of cause and effect to govern all existence. This harmonious force, known as Karma, represents the intricate interplay between actions and consequences. Like a graceful dance, these two elements are forever intertwined in a cosmic embrace.
But what I also discovered was the Law of Polarity – a law within the law that gives us mere humans a distinct advantage; a way to overcome the trappings of bad karma and navigate a better journey in life. It was a profound revelation that holds within it the power to transcend the limitations of your existence.
My mantra became, know thyself!
It really is all in the cards… And now here we are. With the best yet to come!
