Clever, Clever!
Way to spin a narrative…
One day, twenty years ago, I woke up from a terrible nightmare. I was relieved to know it was just a dream. Then, I woke up again on that same day – in the early evening – from the dream I was dreaming when I awoke from the terrible nightmare. This time, I was relieved to find both waking and dreaming, are ALL JUST DREAMS.
When I awoke the second time, I met God. Literally. Face to Faceless Face, soul to Mighty Spirit. He was amused – by me.
I want you to know God is very kind and is very gentle and full of love.
Spirit IS ALL LOVE
God knows we are suffering in this dream, this nightmare, because we don’t know how to wake up. Even now I am suffering because I went back to sleep. When I think of Him now, my eyes sting with hot tears and my heart feels like it could burst.
Of course, it’s not really a dream. But, it’s a good word to use because we understand a dream-state to be a different state of consciousness.
We could call it something else though – like an illusion. Or, a motion picture show. A motion picture might be more to the point because we are all made of light and shadows, and that’s exactly what a movie is made of.
How cunning for the clever ones to control our human experiences by using motion pictures and television! Making up stories for us to follow instead of letting us make up our own. They have created light and shadows within the light and shadows of the Lord. Playing God, they want to be God…
Good luck with that.
Yes! It’s all a dream, folks. Like folklore. We are the folk in the lore. God’s extraordinary dream. Life and death are bookends to His story; History in the making in a never-ending manifestation of His inexhaustible Beingness, Omniscient Creativity and boundless Love.
